A Note From The Director
"I started this journey because I was angry. Angry that no one had prepared me for what was happening to my body. Angry that my doctor had so little to offer. And angry that millions of women were going through the same thing in silence."
What I discovered along the way transformed my anger into purpose. I met incredible women — researchers, doctors, advocates, and everyday women — who are changing the conversation around menopause. Their stories deserve to be told. Their knowledge deserves to be shared.
This film is for every woman who has ever felt dismissed, confused, or alone during this transition. It's for the partners, families, and workplaces that need to understand. And it's for the next generation, so they won't have to face this journey in the dark.

The Team Behind The Film
Kate Green
Director & Executive Producer
An award-winning director and producer, Kate is known for her ability to capture raw, honest storytelling. She directed NarcoLeap, a sci-fi series that earned multiple Canadian Screen Award and Leo nominations, and helmed documentaries like Not a Stranger and Melting Stars, both festival award winners. A champion for women in film, Kate was selected for the Directors Guild of Canada’s virtual production initiative and is a Banff Spark recipient. Her work spans networks such as CBC, History, HGTV, TELUS, and Slice.
Amber Orchard
Producer
An experienced producer and production manager, Amber has worked on a variety of notable projects including NarcoLeap, Bush Wreck Rescue, and Pamela’s Garden of Eden, as well as upcoming series like Million Dollar Secret and Extracted. Amber’s expertise spans coordinating large-scale productions and managing diverse teams, contributing to projects across networks such as Netflix, HGTV, and TELUS Originals. Amber is also the Association Manager for Screen BC, where she advocates for the growth of BC’s film and television industry.
Olivia Fellows
Producer
With over a decade of experience in journalism and documentary filmmaking, Olivia is a Brazillian journalist and producer known for her storytelling. She most recently produced an episode of The Nature of Things (“The Teenager and the Lost Maya City”) and has directed and produced over 60 short documentaries for Discovery Canada and Curiosity Stream. Her work includes co-producing an episode of Al Jazeera's People and Power and contributing to documentary series for CBC, PBS, Discovery US, Discovery Canada, History Channel, and APTN.
Jessica Young
Producer
With over a decade of experience in film and television, Jessica is a talented producer skilled at playing key roles on story teams for documentary and factual television, as well as overseeing large-scale digital media projects. She most recently produced two seasons of Great Pacific Media’s award-winning Deadman's Curse podcast. Over her career she has produced work for CBC, Bell Media, Corus and UpTV. Her independently written, produced and directed short films have been selected for film festivals across North America.
